Does the organic airbrush tan rub off on your clothes?The organic airbrush tan contains a cosmetic bronzer that can rub off on clothes and sheets. Since it is water soluble, it generally washes out of everything.
How long should I wait to shower after an airbrush tan?Once your eight hours are up, shower with “lukewarm to cool water, never hot. Wait until the water runs clear, then pat dry and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.How long does an airbrush tan last?The “life span” of a sunless tan also depends on your skin’s natural exfoliation. The faster your skin turns over, the faster the sunless tan will fade. Can you tan in the sun with an airbrush tan?Yes… An airbrush tan offers no protection from UVA or UVB rays, so you will still tan but you will also need to wear sun cream too.Can you get a pedicure the day after an airbrush tan?Please be sure to schedule your organic airbrush tan appointment after you get your manicure or pedicure. The solution will not ruin your nails as they will be protected with barrier cream. What kind of lotion to use after an organic airbrush tan?Wash with a mild shower gel or body wash, preferably moisturizing. We recommend anything typically without a scent. Avoid any lotions with alcohol in the. Do NOT use Dove soap or any drying bar soaps after your tan! How do I prepare for my organic airbrush tan?Exfoliate prior to your tan All shaving must be done prior to your tanning No lotion or deodorant prior to your tan Bring or wear loose dark clothing to throw on after your organic airbrush tan sessionWhat do I wear during my airbrush tan?This is totally depending on your comfort level since there will be a technician applying the sunless tan. Options are fully nude, bathing suit, or bottom no top. We do provide a thong pantie if needed.What is the difference between the quick glow and custom glow?The quick glow is an alcohol based solution vs the custom glow which is an aloe vera based solution. Quick development allows you to shower sooner within 1-4 hours compared to the custom glow, which allows you to shower at 8 hours. The only downfall with the quick glow is that it is an alcohol based solution which can cause drying of the skin making the tan fade sooner.

Can you use an eyelash curler on lashes extensions?We do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your eyelash extensions as these curlers will damage the extensions and possibly your own natural lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl but if more of a curl is required we recommend using a heated eyelash curler. Are eyelash extensions bad for your eyelashes?The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes. How long do eyelash appointments take?Depending on the service selected, the initial application of your eyelash extensions will take 1.2– 2 hours . Touchup appointments take as little as 45 minutes . Can you get lash extensions if your lashes are straight?If you have very straight natural lashes or lashes that grow downward, you can still get eyelash extensions. You can do curled extensions (called d curl), but be aware that because of the shape of the natural lash, they made not be adhered to the entire natural lash so they may grow out faster How to Make your Lash Extensions Last Longer1. Avoid water and steam for the first 48 hours.2. Don’t use mascara; instead, use Coating Sealant.3. Sleep on your back.4. Use oil-free cleansing products.5. Brush them morning and night.6. Have a top up every 2-3 weeks.
How long until you can shower after eyelash extensions?Don’t schedule your appointment the day before a beach vacation. You can’t get the lash extensions wet for 24 hours. That means no swimming, showering , hot tubs, or steam rooms. How do you take off eyelash extensions?We have a special solution that will remove your lash extensions. We do not recommend removing them yourselves due to the risk of damaging your natural lashes. Is it okay to also wear mascara?If you are planning to wear mascara in addition to the extensions, only use it on the tips of the extensions and with a very light hand. This will be enough to give your eyes that “pop” along with the extensions. Using mascara at the base of the extensions will get very clumpy.
WAXING
What should I avoid before waxing?
There are certain medications and products that should not be taken or used if you plan to have a waxing treatment soon. Topical exfoliants on the area to be waxed such as Retin-A, Renova, and hydroquinone, oral acne medications such as Accutane, blood-thinning medications, and topical/oral cortisone make the skin more sensitive and increase the likelihood of irritation or other complications. Please check with your doctor if you are unsure whether you should be waxed while on or using a medication.
What should I do in-between waxing?
The usual time between eyebrow waxes is around 4 weeks. The best thing to do is tweeze any stray hairs but DO NOT touch the arch of the brow, or any hairs inside the brow. When tweezing, remember to tweeze in the direction of the hair to easily pull out the hair. This is best to do after a bath or shower. A good concealer over the top of any stray hairs is also very effective to keep the shape of the brow between waxes.
What does Custom brow shaping involve?
We first start by stenciling your brows based on your face shape and show/ educate you on wear your brow should start, arch and end. From there we will start waxing in unwanted hair outside the stencil along with trim and tweeze. Lastly we will educate you how to fill in your brows with cosmetic, which we sell here at Coastal Beauty Bar.
